If you’re thinking of something different for Fasting/ Upwas menu this Upwas Recipe in Marathi of Ratali Halwa could be a time saver and tummy satisfier both. This Ratale Upvas Recipe is very easy to make and definitely tasty and healthy.
Ingredients: साहित्य
1. 4-5 Ratali (Sweet Potatoes) 4-5 रताली
2. 4 Tsp Ghee (Clarified Butter) 4 चमचे तूप
3. 3/4th Cup Milk 3/4 कप दूध
4. 3/4th cup Jaggery 3/4 कप गूळ
5. 1 cup grated fresh Coconut 1 कप किसलेले ताजे नारळ
6. ½ Cup Raisins ½ कप मनुका
Firstly wash the Sweet Potatoes with water to remove all soil. And then peel off the skin with peeler and then grate all Ratali. Keep grated Ratali in water to avoid darkening. Heat 2 Tsp Ghee in a Kadhai and after draining all water from the grated Ratali, add that into the kadhai. Keep sauteing for 1-1 ½ minute to see slight change in colour. Once start looking mushy, add milk and keep mix well. Keep covered for 2-3 minutes and check if cooked.
Add Jaggery and mix well, then without covering keep stirring. After 1-2 minutes, add grated fresh Coconut and mix well. Add Raisins and it’s ready for serving.
