What is on Your Customer's Radar?

Описание к видео What is on Your Customer's Radar?

Completing the Customer Radar exercise should be performed by a small team that collectively brainstorms and discuss the customer’s preferences and desired outcomes. The Radar exercise can be in-person using flip charts, post-it notes, and markers. Or, the tool can be completed online in a virtual workshop.

1). Determine Topics: Break the bigger problem into smaller parts. Start with your problem statement and then decompose the larger issue into smaller, more specific topics. The topics are placed on the outside of the radar. Try to create 4-8 topics to review.

2). Brainstorm Items: After establishing your topics, use post-it notes to brainstorm the various issues, challenges, goals, motivations, desired features, etc., that may be important to the customer. Using the Customer Radar, the team can also evaluate their How Might We questions.

3). Prioritize Items: Using the three concentric circles, plot the previously brainstormed items according to the topic they apply to, and the level of importance. Items placed closest to the center of the circle are the things most important to the customer. This diagram section is intentionally left small to limit how many things the team classifies as “significant or extremely important” to the customer.

4). Summarize Findings: Capture insights that help to design more inclusive and effective solutions.
