A great surprise behind the belt of tourist restaurants

You have to go away from the port or main streets. A beautiful garden, calm, and a really great meal! Try for lunch their Greek salad and lamb souvlaki with its sauge smoke. Their wine was also excellent. The best in Kos for epicurians!

For food lovers

On our last night in Kos we were looking to end our culinary experience on a high note.
Going past the more "touristic" restaurants located in Kos Town we headed up the streets till we came across Petrino. Seemed normal at first but as we came closer to see the menu a beautiful restaurant revealed itself. Walking us inside was a man who seemed to be the owner, (promising we will not be disappointed) leadong us to one of the wooden tables, each with fine dining setting and mood lights.
The menu is brief and precise! We ordered Tzaziki, Greek Salad, Bread (yummy hot served bread with eggplant dip!) and a fresh fish for two grilled. filleted and served with jacket potatos.
The waiter paired a nice dry white wine for us and we loved it.
For desert (in spite of us being absolutely full) we got water melon and melon on the house.
A perfect finale for a perfect vacation, as promised!

The tourist guides Greek Tourism and Greek Restaurant visited the restaurant tasted the food, were satisfied with the quality of the goods offered to them and suggested it unreservedly.
