Today let's talk about "Slaughterhouse-Five" by Kurt Vonnegut, Jr. One of the most popular stories that takes an anti-war stance and really tries to express the horrors. Many have a hard time connecting to characters. Perhaps that's a big of Vonnegut, perhaps it's a bit of his intention for the characters to not act like characters in his attempt to de-glorify the war novel. What did you guys think?
