The Danner Mountain Light. The best hiking boot. Also the boot that was in "Wild" starring Reese Witherspoon. To some people these are one and the same. Either way the Danner hiking boot is getting really trendy this year and by that I mean it probably was and I missed the wave. It's the leather, waterproof, Gore-tex lined, boot from the 70's. Anyways, today we are looking at one of the best* hiking boots in the world and comparing it to the newest best hiking boot in the world: The Merrell MOAB 3.
