Unnecessary and Over Restored!

Bought this Craftsman parallel wood clamp a few weeks back at auction for $8. It was nasty and so I thought I would clean them up and show you how nice they could look. It took me a while to get them back together, these right hand/left hand double screws took a minute to figure out. You have to get them almost exactly even in order for the clamp to work properly, but I got it. The process I followed on the finishing is very similar to what I would do on antique furniture. The body of the clamps were oak and the handle were maple and one was a little “curly”. Thanks for watching.
