After multiple design iterations, we finalized a new design of the #SnapmakerU1 Top Cover. Made from tough, durable PC material, it’s built to last. The final version may vary slightly, as we continue optimizing it.

🚪Magnetic Front Door
Opens and closes magnetically, giving users easy access to the inner chamber without removing the entire Top Cover—so you can operate toolheads or other internal components with ease.

🌡️Auto High/Low-Temp Switching
High-temp filaments (e.g., ABS/ASA/PA/PC): internal fan activates and air damper closes, circulating heat evenly for stable temperature.
Low-temp filaments (e.g., PLA): temperature sensor triggers external fan and opens the damper to release excess heat, keeping extruder gears below softening points for smooth feeding.
Fan speed adjusts dynamically. No front door opening needed.

🌬️3-Layer Air Filtration Function
Pre-filter + HEPA12 + activated carbon.
Removes PM2.5, dust, odors, and harmful gases. Multiple passes ensure cleaner air.

🔇Noise Reduction
49 dB at 1m—6 dB quieter than without the cover.

🧶Chamber Insulation Performance
Passive heating up to 50°C for PET, ABS, ASA, PA, PC, and more.
