This might be the best deck we've constructed to this point..

This thing had INSANE power holy shit man. We were one shotting stabby books and spaghetti monsters left and right with this thing. This run completely shifted my thought process on the card "Fasting". At first glance that card seems unplayable, at a heavy initial cost of TWO mana and for the rest of combat you're losing 1 energy? Thats kind of crazy.. BUT if that strength can allow you to basically one or two shot a creature and do over 200-250+ damage, then it becomes a card that changes a fight from a fight that could be three turns and maybe in those three turns you take 15 damage.. to a fight that now takes ONE turn, and you take NO damage and who cares if you lose a energy later in the fight if the fight only lasts one or two turns anyways and you won't be around long enough to see that punishment? We also had the key stance dance players here like an upgraded Eruption, Indignation to enter wrath or spread a lot of vulnerability, upgraded Crescendo to choose when we want to "kill mode activated" and then things like an upgraded Halt to help gain block while in Wrath because often times fights were only one or two turns and I would just stay in wrath so Halt allowed me to get a lot of block for free incase the fight would take two turns but really our KEY player was the upgraded Ragnarok and our upgraded Fasting that I did not value enough DURING the run but now I see the strength in. These two cards were literally just one shotting every and any fight we took, normal and elite. Hell it could almost one shot a boss fight. TWO CARDS. If I had Blasphemy or a way to enter divinity I could of easily one shot a boss fight. We also picked up a judgment towards the end just to add a nice little bow on the decks one shot potential. The relics this deck had were also just insane with things like Golden Idol early to farm easy gold and cash in for future relics and cards/removals, Gambling Chip to help just get a perfect starting hand and possibly one shot whatever we're fighting, Vajra for more strength on top of our Fasting was FIVE strength on a character that was built to hit insanely hard BEFORE strength scaling and thats not even the best part, we had relics like Golden Eye to give us better scrys on our Cut Through Fate cards that are already so good, we had Coffee Dripper as the best energy relic in the game, we had Bag of Preparation in conjunction with Gambling Chip to give us even BETTER and LARGER opening hands, we had ICE CREAM MOTHERFUCKING ICE CREAM TOO to store any excess energy and use it later, but honestly we didn't really need it that much because we had lethal turn one so many times.. truly this thing was a special special deck and an absolute treat and joy to play and build and fall into. I have named this deck "The Fasting Fist of Ragnarok" and I feel its pretty fitting. I hope we can build another like it again one day.
