Leicester is a city we always love to visit. The shopping is great, the people are friendly and the shopping centres, arcades and markets are well worth a visit.

There's always something going on in the city centre too so we were delighted to travel to the city for a walk around the streets and the city centre to see Leicester getting ready for Christmas shopping.

Leicester is a city in Leicestershire, England. Famous for it's football club Leicester City and for the recent discovery of King Richard III under a carpark, it has friendly people, and lots to see and do so well worth a visit if you're travelling around the UK like I am!
