A team hatches a plan to capture a 100-ton underground monster: they thread a 10,000-meter steel cable through a shipping container, loop one end around a speeding aircraft, and attach steel balls (that collide to make noise) to the other. Lured by the sound, the monster enters the container; the team traps it with sharp steel rods. A hunter, curious to see the monster, is sprayed with stinking slime. They learn an old man—bitten and poisoned by the monster days earlier—will rot to death without its antidote. Jimmy crawls into the monster’s mouth, extracts fluid from a milky flesh ball in its throat, makes an antidote, and saves the old man. But a second vengeful monster appears: it swallows a woman whole, then a man who makes noise while fleeing (along with his car).
