When I first turned on the Bassline, I was certain something was wrong with the filter, it was noisy and bleeding high frequencies and I had no experience with a Polivoks kind of filter before, so I contacted the Erica Synths team and they clarified that this is the filter's natural character, it's just one dirty, gritty filter. And now, having spent more time with the synth, I've come to really appreciate its unique sound, it's very in-your-face and I quite like that.
