England's Finest Medieval City 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

Today we're in York, one of the finest medieval cities in the world.
I've gotta say Yorkshire's a cracking part of our England!

Just had to start the day with some proper Yorkshire pork pies from a little deli out of town before we went and checked out York minster, was honestly flippin phenomenal.

We then spent a few hours wandering Yorks well preserved medieval streets before having a look at the ancient city walls.

Now it wouldn't be an English day out without a visit to the pub so we found a right little classic. Had some decent drinks and another pork pie with homemade chutney which was bloody fantastic.

We then went and caught the UK's most scenic bus journey from York to Whitby for only £2! What an absolute bargain.

York is definitely nowadays a little too touristy and commercial but with that said you can't take the history away from her! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿
