Growing up as an ambitious Moroccan kid born in Alkmaar was an experience filled with perseverance, doubt, learning to deal with my Moroccan and Dutch identity and to be confident when teachers said ‘Music won’t bring you any success!’. I’ve had the pleasure of international hits, touring the world, and publish my world views with an annual magazine that showcases greatness in diversity in the Netherlands. I would love to share my ideas on the importance of role models and inclusiveness.
