It may look like a constant honeymoon on YouTube and Instagram, but travelling as a couple can be challenging.

The stresses of travel – e.g. fatigue, diet, lack of routine – can lead to all kinds of issues between couples.

So in this video, we – and three of our favourite YouTube #travelcouples – share some practical and well-tested tips and advice on how to travel as a couple and not break up!

Here are the tips we discuss:

1. Embrace your role on the team!
2. Be open to new experiences!
3. Don't make big decisions when you're feeling vulnerable!
4. Be open with your emotions!
5. Take breaks. Sometimes from each other!
6. Plan ahead so you'll always be on the same page!
7. But also, be flexible with your plans!
