Our look at Bristol Street Art

In the interest of clarity and honesty Visit Bristol provided us access to the Where the Wall 24 hour self-guided tour of Bristol's Street Art Scene.

This video is based on our own experience following the guide, along with other pieces we saw en-route, as well as a visit to the M-Shed & Bristol Museum & Art Gallery.

We chose to pick up the trail at the Banksy piece - 'The Girl with the Pierced Eardrum' on the south side of Bristol harbour, a place you need to seek out rather than stumble across. We wandered around Bristol Harbour, picking up a variety of different works that add to the vibrancy of Bristol, before arriving at the loading bay of the city's library for another Banksy work - 'YOU DON’T NEED PLANNING PERMISSION TO BUILD CASTLES IN THE SKY’

A stroll over to Bristol City's council offices, and we re-imaging Banky's 'Pulling the Plug'. This was removed after a few hours by the powers that be. It's only a short walk to a more famous work by Banksy, 'Well Hung Lover'

But is not all about Banksy and we head up Park Street where we discover ‘Let it Bloom’ by Jody, and 'Marvin the Martian' by Deamze hidden away down Hill Street. Other works we catch, despite the rain are; 'Uncertain World' - Alex Lucas, a mystery piece by Inkwell, 'The Mild Mild West' - Banksy, 'The Duel of Bristol' by Conor Harrington and 'Welcome to Bristol’ by Tats Cru.

Heading into Bristol Museum & Art Gallery, we discover 'Paint Pot Angel' by Banksy, and a journey to M-Shed and we uncover another Banksy work - 'The Grim Reaper'

There are a few other splashes of Bristol, but we will return for a look around the city in a later video.
