🔪 How to Unlock

To earn Secret Assassin, you must perform 20 Knife Takedowns on enemies.
These are stealth kills performed from behind using the Circle button.

✅ IMPORTANT:
Do NOT grapple enemies first — walk up quietly from behind and press Circle immediately.

Kills accumulate through the entire story and do not need to be consecutive.

🗡️ How Knife Takedowns Work

A Knife Takedown is a one-hit stealth execution performed when:

✔️ You approach an enemy from behind
✔️ You stay undetected
✔️ You press Circle without initiating a grab
✔️ You perform a clean assassination animation

These count toward the trophy.

🗡️ Best Knives to Use
✅ Stiletto Knife — Recommended

Highest durability

Perfect for long stealth sections

Requires fewer sharpenings

✅ Rasolu Knife

Total one-hit kill machine

BUT extremely low durability

Needs frequent sharpening

✅ Scannaturi Knife

Throwing knife specialization

Not ideal for stealth takedowns, but usable

🧰 Knife Durability & Sharpening

Every takedown reduces your knife’s sharpness.

✔️ Carry a Whetstone at all times
✔️ Sharpen your knife between stealth kills or mid-fight
✔️ If your knife breaks, takedowns cannot be performed until it’s sharpened

🪖 Steps to Unlock the Trophy

1️⃣ Equip a durable knife (Stiletto recommended)
2️⃣ Sneak behind an enemy
3️⃣ Press Circle immediately → perform a Knife Takedown
4️⃣ Repeat until you reach 20 total takedowns

✅ Trophy pops after the 20th registered takedown

⚠️ Note:

Some players report needing 21–23 takedowns before the trophy unlocks.
If it doesn't pop at exactly 20, keep going — it will eventually unlock.

🧩 Tips & Notes

💡 Stealth sections in Chapters 3, 5, 6, and 8 offer excellent takedown opportunities
💡 Isolate enemies by whistling or baiting them into quiet areas
💡 Don’t rush — rushing leads to grapples, which don’t count
💡 Use Instinct to highlight enemy positions
💡 If enemies cluster, circle the perimeter for easy backstabs
