Nexustudios has been creating and producing original electronic music since 1994. Also recording and working with dozens of local rap and vocal artists, with the goal of putting Joburg on the worlds music map. Starting as Lime Records back when the rave scene just began in South Africa and performing live electronic music for over 10 years at various clubs, rave and events. At first creating chill out music (ambient electronic music) and slowly evolving to house and techno. When the initial dance scene started to fade out is when drum and bass along with hip hop became more of the focus. Along with recording and helping fresh talent get their demos together. When the studio moved down the road it changed names to Orange Groove.
Orange Groove has been consistently producing innovative music for the last 25 years, growing the local culture and keeping the faith alive.

LIME RECORDS A bedroom studio first based in Yeoville, Johannesburg South Africa. Working with local talent to capture an underground scene that was a golden era in the Joburg/Soweto rap scene as well as the start of the rave scene.
