Project Fastbrakes Fit PART 1: Big Brake Kit and Rear Disc Conversion

VTEC Academy teams up the Brian Hasty of Fastbrakes on this project, a track day first gen Honda Fit. First order of business? Bigger front brakes and a read disc conversion, of course. I mean after all, we did team up with FastBrakes on this project. The OEM stoppers are adequate for the street, but on the track they will quickly be overwhelmed. The increased surface area of the new rotors will allow for a bigger pad in the new Wilwood calipers.
