How to Repair the Jack In Semi-Hollow Body Guitar

http://www.planetz.com/fixing-semihol.... Update: I added 1/4" inner-tooth lock washer between the nut and round washer and it's stayed tight since then.

The jack on cheaper Ephiphone semi-hollowbody guitars is notorious for getting loose and dropping into the guitar.

This is a short video to demonstrate how to fix it. Hopefully this might save someone an expensive trip to the repair shop.

Note at 2:20, hold the jack firmly with toward pressure on the pliers.
