Amy Wardens hosts the Soap challenge Club. This club is for everyone, beginners to intermediate soapmakers. She gives use a detailed video with guidelines how to do these techniques. Its great because it get you trying new things, you could not even imagine. https://soapchallengeclub.com/
I made my own scrapers, but you could use cardboard or a sturdy plastic.
I figured out how much batter I needed for each layers and added it all up in soap calculator.
I poured each layers letting it set up enough to scrape back to for the design. Once its set up, you pour the next layers.
The crystal are bonded together with melt and pour filling in the gaps.
