The week of Poppy Playtime has come to an end and that means we will once again archive the entire series in one, comfortable video. It was fascinating to see how much this series has evolved when I went back and played the first game again. It is also so cool that you already get hints and foreshadowing about the Prototype from the very first game.
Each chapter offers brand new gameplay mechanics and the environments begin looking more detailed. Chapter 2 is the only one that is a bit confusing, because for some reason you can only play the old version that has no subtitles which is a shame.
Chapter 3 still is the scariest chapter by far with the Home Sweet Home section being so tense and creepy. The segment with Ms. Delight is also one of the creepiest and it all still holds up so well. Chapter 4 is a bit of a mixed bag with some segments not being as fun, but Doey is one of the best characters that they made and it is really a sad story revolving around him.
Chapter 5 is brilliant and has so many revelations, twists and turns and a lot of answers for long time fans. I do not know if Chapter 6 will be the final chapter, but I know that I am down for way more creepy adventures with Poppy and her crew.
