The story of how Luffy meets Red Shanks, eats the Devil Fruit gaining Gum Gum Powers and decides to become the next Pirate King of the World. Other major villains. The World Government, The Marines, The Four Emperors and the Seven Warlords will eventually appear in future seasons.
