Today's adventure takes us to San Francisco, California and to the most famous prison in America....Alcatraz. Prior to becoming the prison that we are familiar with, Alcatraz Island was used as a military prison during the Civil War. In the early 1900's, the Alcatraz Prison that we see now was built. The prison housed over 300 prisoners and was known simply as "The Rock". So come join me as we explore Alcatraz Island.
