If you calibrate your display often, it is a great idea to clean up your profile folder every now and then to remove icc profiles, both display and print profiler, that are no longer being used or relevant to the current calibration. This video will show you how to do that.

For any hardware calibrated display old icc profiles should be removed, because if you have recalibrate your display, it will no longer be relevant to the current calibration. For software calibrated display, these old profiles can be left in place since you can switch back to them at anytime.
