Marines with 4th Assault Amphibian Battalion, 4th Marine Division, Marine Forces Reserve, executed a beach landing as part of Exercise Northern Strike 2016 at Camp Grayling, Mich., on Aug. 8, 2016. Northern Strike is a joint, multinational exercise designed to enhance the capabilities of military units in air, sea, and ground operations, as well as the synchronization of fires in a major combat operations environment. The exercise builds proficiency and strengthens interoperability between U.S. and partner forces.
