From the first donation of an inexpensive camera back in 1993, Susan Rennie and Paula Lumbard have been supporting Venice Arts for over 20 years. Here they discuss their own commitment to community art endeavors and the long trajectory they have witnessed at Venice Arts – from instamatic cameras to state of the art multimedia classes.

The mission of Venice Arts is to ignite youths’ imagination, mentor their creativity, and expand their sense of possibility through high quality, accessible media–based arts education programs. Our programs also serve as a catalyst for people of all ages, living in low–income or underrepresented communities, to create and share personal and community stories through photography, film, and multimedia.
