If you need to install Windows with a local account rather than a Microsoft Account, your options are limited and some of them might be going away altogether as Microsoft tries to block us from using local accounts with Windows. For example, the oobe\bypassnro.cmd method may soon no longer work.

Fortunately, there is a new method you can use to install Windows with a local account and it's very easy to do.

Here is the command you will need to type after pressing Ctrl+Shift+J. Just be sure to type it exactly as shown.

WinJS.Application.restart("ms-cxh://LOCALONLY")
