We spent 3 weeks in wonderful Vietnam, splitting our time between the north, central and southern part of the country. This was not long after the country had reopened for tourism and many of the hotspots were pretty quiet with the tourism sector still finding its feet. A wonderful experience overall with fantastic people, food, culture and nature.

Here was our rough travel itinerary:

Day 1-5: Hanoi & Ha Long Bay
Day 6-7: Sa Pa
Day 8-11: Ninh Binh
Day 12-17: Hoi An
Day 18-22: Saigon
