All Faction Differences Breakdown | Timberborn Guide

Описание к видео All Faction Differences Breakdown | Timberborn Guide

Folktails vs Iron Teeth, what are all the differences between the Timberborn beaver factions? Well this video breaks them all down and can serve as a guide if you are interested in their faction specific buildings, or if you want help deciding which faction to play. You start Timberborn with the Folktails unlocked, and to get access to the Iron Teeth have to achieve a well being score of 8 in one of your saves. It's not too much of a challenge, and after that both factions are fair game.

The biggest difference between the factions is in how they increase their population. The Folktails naturally form families and have children if there is additional housing space available. The Iron Teeth use breeding pods to have their children, a unique building that requires water and berries to function and creates beaver children regardless of housing space.

Folktails Unique Buildings:
Log Pile - Sadly does not have the solid keyword so can get space hungry
Underground Storage - Huge storage capacity makes up for not having the solid keyword
Lodges - Space hungry housing that does not get more space efficient with upgrades, the only improvement is in requiring access to fewer doors.
Irrigation Tower - Waters inland crops, could just be replaced by a hole in the ground.
Beehive - Increases crop growth speed by 25%, incredible for maximizing farm efficiency.
Windmill / Large Windmill: Power production through intermittent wind power.
Scarecrow - Cute decoration.

Iron Teeth Unique Buildings:
Large Metal Platform - Crazy expensive but will let you utilize space over your fields or industry
Industrial Log Pile - With the solid keyword this is great for allowing expansion to upper floors
Barracks Housing - Extremely efficient housing and great for building beaver high rises.
Engine: Power production through burning logs.

Timberborn:
Humans are long gone. Will your lumberpunk beavers do any better? A city-building game featuring ingenious animals, vertical architecture, river control, and deadly droughts. Contains high amounts of wood.
