US BIRDERS join us for a DAYTRIP at Melbourne's BIRDING HOTSPOT

Who knew that a few chats online would end up with four birders from the United States joining us on a BIG BIRDING DAY OUT at the Western Treatment Plant near Melbourne!

The weather was cold, overcast and windy.... but the birds did not mind at all. In fact, the list just kept on growing on this trip...

Not bad for one day!! We were pretty impressed ourselves to see all these birds so it was fantastic to be able to share such great moments with our new friends from America!!

I think we lucked out meeting Jim, Ellen, Kristin & Dave! They were the best guests we could possibly have asked for!
