Super Mario Maker... the game I love and hate.

Yeah, I misspelled the name. Oh well. I'm not sure why I made the stage but it got 1 more star than my other better made courses...

1:06 Flight of the ?-Blocks (844F-0000-00AA-7EF0)
I never seen platformming levels dedicated to flying question blocks so I made this level. I remember clearing it pretty easily a bunch of times back in 2016 but times have changed.

6:43 Uhhhhhhh..... (7137-0000-004D-E397)
This is the second stage that I have made and uploaded. I don't recall my mindset when I made this stage. All I remember is that I was waiting for the game to unlock the other builder tools so I made a "follow the shell" type of level to help speed up the process.

7:22 It's Just a Castle of Bowser's (CF01-0000-0165-CC55)
Indeed it is. Because my favorite type of levels in Mario games are Bowser's fortresses, I wanted to make my own type of fortress. It's just another castle, Bowser has 50 billion more in the back. If there is one thing I'd change in the level, it would be the Clown Cart section. The pathway is too narrow, so I'd widen it.

I don't know why this level has more stars than I think it should. I literally just threw together Cheep Cheeps and Urchins underwater and named it after "Urchin Underpass" from Splatoon 1.

14:21 Find the Spring! (remade) (4DDE-0000-0082-7960)
A remake of the original "Find the Spring!", my first level made and uploaded in this game. Unlike the original, this level is more focused on finding springs to move on. Though in the first section, you could get by with a spring jump.

17:41 Spin to Win! (C823-0000-0071-7F2E)
Mario's Spin Jump has always an underutilized move imo. Hence why this level was made. Though now that I look back at it, this level only limits Mario in his spin jump. It doesn't really highlight it properly. Oh well, it is a fun level anyways

18:48 Bowser's Airship Fleet (A455-0000-00B3-0CEE)
I had a plan to release 3 stage trilogy, starting with this one. I dropped the idea when no one starred my second course. It prompted me to rant about SMM's course upload limit on this stage comments but I took them down because the game says it "takes down levels begging for stars". It's not my fault that I want to upload more levels but I'm at the mercy of other people. I needed 50 stars to upload up to 20 levels. By the time I reached 50 stars, I quit the game and never looked back.

I had a blast making this level and playing this level. I don't remember what gave me the idea but I know I wanted to make an adrenaline pumping level. I can remember 2 Miiverse comments to the day:
"THAT WAS INSANE! Good job, it was soooo hard!"
(a post that showed Mario in the Clown Cart at the end of the level.)

28:56 Bowser's Gauntlet (DDF6-0000-006A-D070)
The classic boss gauntlet. I've made 2 others but they weren't starred. The level was also featured on Jtails' video a while back (   • Mario Maker Madness #9 - "Bowser's Gauntlet"  ), which gave me a bit more stars. This game has very limited bosses so I did with what I could. My goal was to prevent the player from easily skipping past segments until they clear the area and I think I did a good job with that. The bosses in the game is very limited after all.
