Quick tips make another return! Diabetes Educator Amy Wilcoxon gives us some food preparation tips in todays episode and gives us an example by making Turkey Chili!

RECIPE HERE
1 lb 93/7 ground turkey
1 small onion, chopped
1 15-oz can black beans (drained and
rinsed)
1 15-oz can kidney beans (drained and
rinsed)
1 28-oz can diced tomatoes (do not
drain)
1 Tbsp chili powder
1 Tbsp cumin
½ tsp cayenne (adjust as needed)
 Instapot: sauté turkey and chopped
onion until cooked; add all
additional ingredients and cook on
high pressure for 25-30 minutes.
Natural release
 Slow cooker: sauté turkey and
chopped onion until cooked;
transfer turkey and all remaining
ingredients to slow cooker. Cook on
high 6-8 hours or on low 10-12
hours.
