The Outfoxies from Namco is an arcade 2D fighting game which is basically Smash Bros from Nintendo LONG before that would exist on the Nintendo 64. It's a vs fighting game that is definitely a gaming hidden gem and one of the best retro games NOBODY talks about! Retro gaming is filled with hidden gems but The Outfoxies is in the top 3 on my list!

On this episode we are looking back at The Outfoxies...one of Namco's best 2D arcade games ever made...and a very rare and obscure video game at that! It's basically the Super Smash Bros formula...except made way before Nintendo would get around to inventing Smash Bros! With a mix of Power Stone from Capcom...except before they would make that game too!

its a 2D fighting game that feels more like an action platformer...but its an absolute BLAST of a video game and one that's never gotten a home port. Its just one of my fav Unported Arcade games of all time even if I can't decide if its an arcade fighting game or not? But its a piece of retrogaming video game history and preservation so...who cares!
