The ancient leshen decoction is arguably the best decoction in all of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, but you cannot brew it until Geralt kills an Ancient Leshen. We give you the secret location of the only Ancient Leshen in the main game. It always drops the mutagen. It also comes with the trophy.

The Ancient Leshen is in Contract: In the Heart of the Woods in Farylund in middle eastern Ard Skellige just south of the crossroads fast travel on the Skellige map. You need to side with Sven to get the mutagen and use a lot of igni to get the decoction that allows you to cast signs more frequently.
