In this tutorial I created a children's application with 6 colored buttons, placed on two columns and 3 lines, which are extending depending on the size of the screen. Each button has a sound, depending on its color, which is heard when it is pressed.
You'll see here how to set height and width in percentage format in Constraint layout (Android Studio version 3.1.2).

0:18 - Start New Project
Project name: Colors for kids
Minimum SDK: API 27 – Android 8.1 (Oreo).
1:05 - In app - res - layout - create New Directory: raw and copy-paste 6 sounds from your computer, with names: sound1.mp3, sound2.mp3, … sound6.mp3.
1:41 - Write the code for activity_main.xml (create auto scale buttons)
3:51 - Write the code for MainActivity.java
4:55 - Run APP in Emulator
5:46 - Export your APP (colors-for-kids.apk)
6:08 - Sell app on Google Play: https://play.google.com/apps/publish/...
