Do it yourself shelf installation using shelves with a simple, one-piece mount bracket system. I demonstrate how to install the shelves in this YouTube video and how easy and straightforward the process can be.

The single mounting bracket simplifies installation greatly. One mounting screw can be attached to the wall through one side of the shelf bracket, leaving the screw a little loose. This allows the bracket to pivot on the one screw into a level orientation. Remaining mounting screw holes can then be marked in the proper location. The shelf bracket can then be lowered out of the way and the marked mounting holes can be pre-drilled for mounting screws. Then the bracket can be repositioned into proper orientation and the mounting screws can be inserted into the mounting hole locations and secured. The idea is to secure at least two mounting screws into wood wall studs behind the drywall, and two more screws into heavy duty drywall screw anchors. Once bracket is secured tightly to the wall the shelf can be placed on the bracket arms.
