Napoleon Apollo AS300K Vertical Water Smoker - Product Review After 1 Year

Well, I've had the Apollo for about 1 year and I decided it's time for me to review it.

One thing I forgot to mention in the video is that this smoker is called the Pro-Q Excel in other parts of the world.

I've done quite a few cooks, and I think I know this smoker pretty well. In this review I go over pretty much every square inch of this bullet smoker / water smoker and let you know what's good, what's bad, what I like, what I don't like.

Overall, I have enjoyed smoking with the Napoleon Apollo. It was a very easy cooker to learn, and it's great at holding temps fairly steady for long periods of time. The longest cook I've had was 10 hours, and it held 225 pretty steady that entire time.

I compare it to the Weber Smokey Mountain quite often, since they are so similar. I'm not saying that one is inherently better than the other, just that the Apollo offers some features that I liked that the WSM didn't.
