Anthony Deighton is Chief Technology Officer and Senior Vice President of Products at Qlik and in this function responsible for the strategy and the direction of the Qlik product portfolio. During the Qlik Visualise Your World Tour event on October 11th in Amersfoort, the Netherlands, Deighton presented the main developments that Qlik users will see in the near future.

BI-Platform spoke with Anthony Deighton about the fundaments supporting his vision in which cloud and mobile play an important role: data, platform and analytics. But also Big Data, Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence have their place within the strategy, Deighton tells. Further he explains the need for development towards what he calls Augmented Intelligence.
