Retrofitting Truma iNet X panel, replacing old Truma CP Plus

Описание к видео Retrofitting Truma iNet X panel, replacing old Truma CP Plus

In this video I’m replacing a Truma iNet ready CP Pluc panel, with a Truma iNet X panel. The retrofit kit is the retail version, NOT the OEM ones you see advertised cheaply on eBay without accessories or box.

The aperture required to fit the new panel needs to be;
Aperture width = 108 mm ± 1 mm
Aperture height = 84 mm ± 1 mm
So the aperture height is the same as the old panel but the width is increased and will need cutting away.

There are installation instructions included in the retail packaging, and these can also be downloaded in PDF form from Truma.

Notes; Although a relatively simple job, make sure your appliances are compatible with this new control panel. The danger being that once you cut a larger hole to take the new panel, it’s not an easy task to revert back to the smaller CP Plus panel.

As yet this panel is only controlled by Bluetooth to a smart phone, so you have to be near the panel to adjust its settings. Truma say they are working on a solution that will allow users to connect to the control panel from anywhere in the world.
