Lots of progress has been made at Ravensthorpe for the Transpennine Route Upgrade (TRU). These images, shot last Sunday, show that huge earthworks have taken place to prepare the ground for a new grade-separated 'fly-over' junction, as well as a new track alignment leading to the new 'Baker Viaduct' across the Hebble & Calder Navigation Canal and the River Calder. The station is being moved 200 metres west of its current location and the progress on preparing the ground for the new station is impressive. #train #railway #tru #transpennineexpress #Ravensthorpe
