In July 2022, the Solidarity Fund PL launched the Blessed Klimentiy Sheptytsky Fund, an aid programme aimed at children orphaned by the war and women freed from Russian captivity. The programme was initiated by the Prime Minister's Office of the Republic of Poland and the Ministry for the Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine.

The Exhibition was created within the framework of the implementation of the 'Programme of support for Ukrainian children and women in the face of war in Ukraine – continuation of activities initiated in 2022' public financed by the Prime Minister's Office.

Solidarity Fund PL is a State Treasury foundation supervised by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland. The Foundation supports democracy, including local democracy, and systemic reforms in transition countries, provides aid in pro-democratic transitions, and promotes respect for human rights around the world. Its activities are financed from the funds of the Polish development cooperation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland as well as by the European Union, the US, the UK, and other donors. The Foundation's main areas of activity cover Ukraine, Belarus, Moldova, Georgia, and Armenia. As of February 2022, the Foundation has provided humanitarian aid to Ukrainian civilians worth about PLN 150 million. The Foundation also serves as the Polish point of contact for international election observation missions within the OSCE.
