My dear brothers and sisters, today’s Word calls us to live like Abraham, with steadfast faith, and to avoid the mistake of the rich fool, who sought security in possessions rather than in God. Let us be a people who treasure heaven more than earth, who share generously, and who live each day with eternal hope.
