Gears & Gambits is an advanced minigame in the Cosmo Canyon Region. They're required to unlock the Protorelic in this area -- if you want to skip it, you can wait until the endgame. Protorelics are only required to unlock literal end-game content. You'll need to be Level 65-70 to finish the Protorelic quest, so don't sweat completing this challenge right away once you reach Cosmo Canyon.
