I'm so glad I managed to get my hands on this CD, even if just a digital copy. Yayane caught my attention with her C78 album, and the idea of a Ghostly Field Club only piano arrange CD seemed very promising (it also includes a "Legend of Hourai" arrangement). The final result is actually better than I expected, even after having heard the crossfade. The album doesn't have a single inferior track.

My favorite might be the "Strange Bird of the Moon, Illusion of Mysterious Cat" arrangement, but I got beat to uploading it. I don't mind very much however... since this album deserves all the attention it can get, and "Mary The Magician" might be my favorite out of all the Music CD originals. It's a fairly simple song, but I just adore it's creepiness, and I can't get enough of it.

Despite being a track on "Ghostly Field Club", "Mary The Magician" feels like it's trying to tell me the story of "Changeability of Strange Dream". Late dining with a vampire in a scarlet mansion, the visage of a phoenix in the night in the bamboo forest... that specific story. Not to say that it doesn't do a good job of portraying Mary, as a character, because I definitely think it does.
