How I scallop a Fretboard

This is a crude explanation of how I personally go about scalloping a fretboard. I neglected to mention in my video that before performing any filing and/or sanding on my fretboard, I cover the oh-so-important fret wire with painters tape, so as to protect them from being marred or scratched. Also, when I illustrated using the piece of molding I neglected to add that with smaller frets, I utilize smaller moldings, as well as pencils or anything that fits the rough shape of the fret-space I'm working on at the moment. I actually desire the scallops a tiny bit deeper than what is illustrated in this video, but with this particular guitar, the side position markers prevented that.
