Small town or local breweries rarely have advertising items that survived. You may find paper, receipts, checks, or embossed bottles. But in this video, we show you a few unique items of Breweriana from the small Ganser City Brewery in Owatonna, Minnesota.

The few items that I had took me a long time to acquire. But thanks to long time collection coming up for sale, I was able to add few more scarce items. I give a brief description and a little history in this video. Peter had perserverance...the brewery burned down in 1878 and he rebuilt it. Only to have it burn down AGAIN in 1884. In 1894,he sold the brewery to Charles Fuermann. That didn't last long,as Peter bought it back in 1900 and continued to brew until his death in 1915. It limped along until prohibition ended things in 1921 or so.

One of the existing building buildings is still on the east side of Oak Street and is now a residence.
