Friday Night Funkin' (abbreviated FNF) is a rhythm video game released on October 5, 2020, developed by a Group of People called The Funkin Crew which is composed of Canadian programmer Cameron Taylor, also known as Ninjamuffin99; artist David Brown, also known as PhantomArcade; and musician Isaac Jacob Garcia known as Kawai Sprite. It was released on Newgrounds and Itch.io. The game has gameplay mechanics similar to Rock Band, Guitar Hero, Dance Dance Revolution, StepMania and PaRappa the Rapper, and an aesthetic similar to Flash games popular in the early and mid-2000s.12
