At Marmot Preprimary School, the timeless tale of Snowy White was brought to life with a beautiful Mauritian twist. Our children, guided by the gentle hands of their teachers, transformed the stage into a world of wonder, rhythm, and culture. It wasn’t just a play it was a celebration of imagination, identity, and the joy of learning.
As someone working with children and school, I’ve covered many stories. But as a father, tonight was personal. When I saw my son Shane, just four years old, dancing on a stage that felt like a real theatre I felt something magical. A proud moment that I tried to catch, hold onto, and now share with you. His little steps, his smile, his confidence they told a story of growth, love, and the power of encouragement.
Behind this magic were the teachers and staff who worked tirelessly, often behind the scenes, to make this dream come true. On behalf of all parents and students, thank you. Your dedication, creativity, and care have gifted us a memory we’ll treasure forever.
