How To Upgrade Controller Firmware
PLC: TM251MESE – current firmware v4.0.6.26
Required cable: USB to mini-B cable

1. Use the USB cable to connect PLC to PC.

2. Open “Controller Assistant”.

3. Wait until the transfer is complete. It’s about 5 minutes.
“Do Not Disconnect The USB Cable Until The Plc Has Been Rebooted.”
Recommend to wait at least 3 more minutes before the next step.

4. When ERR, ETH.1 and ETH.2 lights all are blinking, now disconnect USB cable from PLC.
Power cycle the PLC.

5. Open EcoStruxure Machine Expert V1.2.3

6. Log in with “Administrator” for both username and password.
Upon the very first login, you will need to create your own password for Administrator.

7. Download the sample program.

8. Testing…
Ethernet port 1, IP: 192.168.1.100; Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0
Ethernet port 2, IP: 172.16.1.245; Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0
