Burgess' confidential informant reveals a possible murder which Burgess discounts but Upton pursues, revealing a corpse which ultimately leads to a prostitution ring. Upton and Burgess butt heads on how to handle confidential informants. Wrapping the stressful case sees Burgess turn to her former lover Ruzek.
